Alison & Sarah - Personal Portfolio
Ali & Sarah first met in 1991 whilst working for another hat manufacturer.
When the company relocated to the north of England, they decided to go into business together: Hat Trix was formed.
Before that Ali had trained as a P.A. as well as doing a far amount of travelling. Her role for Hat Trix is mainly the business side of things, i.e. ordering, accounts, invoicing and making sure everything runs smoothly, right down to the despatching of the hats on time.
Sarah first trained in hairdressing and beauty. After qualifying she worked for 6 months in a salon, but then an opportunity arose to join a small wedding dress design company, which she took. She started as a pattern cutter and was soon designing and making wedding dresses, which is where the influence for designing hats for Hat Trix comes from.
Sarah now designs full-time for Hat Trix as well as some production along with our small & friendly workforce
