University of Waterloo

In spring 2019, the University of Waterloo invited Woolwich Web Works to become one of their preferred development partners. Their in-house team was unable to keep up with the many requests from various departments while also working on upgrading their standard CMS implementation to Drupal 8. As a former staff member at the University, Megan McDermott was uniquely qualified to take on this task.

Woolwich Web Works collaborated with on-campus stakeholders to enhance the content structures available within their existing standard CMS implementation. Work included adding support for high-resolution video backgrounds from a third-party provider, expanding the Waterloo Stories site to support multiple topic landing pages, and more.

The University also has a few units that aren't required to use the University's site-wide website template and wanted a custom design for marketing purposes.
